This is a rapidly evolving market that requires sector-specific expertise to invest successfully in our view.  Aligned was founded by seasoned investors that have been at the forefront of the clean energy transition for more than a decade.  Our team previously led the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office and managed a more than $30 billion portfolio of clean energy loans, including some of the first commercial-scale solar projects, energy storage facilities, and electric vehicle platforms in the United States.
